This Bauhaus side table from the Czech Republic combines a round top in solid wood with a frame of chrome-plated steel tube. Both wooden tops are lacquered in glossy white, the surface feels smooth and reflects light calmly. The four steel tube legs are gently angled and splay outwards towards the floor, giving the table a secure stance and a distinctive silhouette. Halfway up sits a second round shelf serving as a magazine rack for magazines, books or the remote control. With a diameter of 70 cm and a height of 68 cm, the round side table works beside a sofa or armchair in the living room just as well as a small coffee table in a reading room. The chrome shows an honest patina that underlines the original character of this Bauhaus piece. In period apartments the steel tube sets a clear accent, whilst in modern interiors the white lacquer blends in with restraint. The condition is excellent.

At Zeitwerk Home, we prioritise sustainability by applying traditional techniques and using natural materials, oils and resins. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work, ensuring that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we want nothing to do with it.

Whether modification or Newly Made – we are happy to adapt this piece of furniture entirely to your wishes for an additional fee. We can modify the product shown in terms of colour, dimensions or details, as well as implement a bespoke Newly Made version based on this design. Contact us for your individual requests, preferably directly via the chat at the bottom right.
