The club chair is the epitome of comfort and style – and has its origins in the gentlemen's clubs of the 1920s. Wide seat, deep backrest, striking silhouette: our selection of club chairs brings this characteristic form back into contemporary spaces.
Whether with robust leather upholstery, rounded armrests or blocky form – each piece tells of an era in which furniture was not only useful, but representative. Many of our club chairs come from France or Czechia and were originally manufactured in the 1920s to 1950s.
We restore them carefully – upholstery, leather or fabric, frame and surface – with respect for the substance and an eye for proportions. Alternatively, we produce club chairs as re-editions in our Berlin workshop – entirely according to your wishes regarding colour, material and seating comfort.
Typical are covers made of brown cowhide, hand-polished solid wood and softly sprung seats. The design language remains clear throughout: powerful, understated, durable. A club chair from Zeitwerk Home is not just a piece of furniture – it is a place to arrive.
