Our Answer to Mass Production

Design icons are copied, simplified, industrialised. Furniture classics become disposable goods. Zeitwerk is our counter-design – a collection that does not quote Bauhaus but thinks it further. With genuine handwork. From genuine materials. For people with an eye for the special.

Material with history. And new colour

Recycled steel – new life from old classics

The steel tube in this collection comes largely from original Bauhaus pieces from the 20th century – many from Czechia, taken from school chairs, offices or residential buildings. We give this material a second life: newly welded, stabilised and then finished with high-quality RAL powder coating in warm pastel tones.

This is where lived history meets clear form and modern colour – becoming a load-bearing part of a piece of furniture that tells more than just design.

Stability that lasts

Multiplex instead of chipboard

We use high-quality birch multiplex – not veneered chipboard, but solid, load-bearing laminated wood throughout. The oiled surface highlights the natural grain, provides lasting protection and gives each piece a warm, matte depth.

The clearly visible edge of the birch wood forms the calm, solid counterweight to the coloured steel. This creates furniture that appears light – yet radiates substance and durability.

Soft to look at. Pleasant in hand

Linoleum – natural, matte, lively

Made from linseed oil, resins, wood flour and jute, linoleum appears warm, calm and lively. The matte surface radiates a particular softness – visually as well as haptically.

It feels soft, dampens light, brings calm to the object. At the same time, it is durable and long-lasting. In combination with steel and wood, it creates a surface that does not need to be loud to make an impression.

Linoleum in its finest spectrum.
