ZW550 is a modern desk with roots in the Bauhaus tradition – reduced, clear, functional. The frame made of chrome-plated steel tube (Ø 22 mm) ensures lightness and stability at the same time. The tabletop consists of oiled multiplex with a solid beech wood edge band, which gives the design additional presence and depth. The linoleum surface is pleasantly matte, easy to care for and feels warm and alive. Thanks to its compact dimensions (110 × 55 × 77.5 cm), ZW550 is suitable both for smaller work areas and as a stylish desk in living spaces. Made in Berlin, in limited quantities. A piece of furniture for people who combine design with quality and substance.

At Zeitwerk Home we focus on sustainability by applying traditional techniques and using natural materials, oils and resins. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work and ensure that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we have no time.

Whether modification or Newly Made – we are happy to adapt this piece of furniture entirely to your wishes for an additional fee. We can modify the product shown in terms of colour, dimensions or details, as well as implement a bespoke Newly Made version based on this design. Contact us for your individual requests, preferably directly via the chat at the bottom right.
