Sitting is everyday – and yet a question of posture. Our Seating shows how design, comfort and history can work together. From the clear Cantilever Chair and classic upholstered benches to Art Deco armchairs – each piece tells of an era, an idea, a standard.
The furniture comes from various European countries – including Germany, France and Czechia – and covers a period from the early 20th century to the 1970s. Restored originals stand alongside re-editions from our own workshop in Berlin, which are based on historical templates and current needs.
Typical materials are chrome-plated steel tube, solid oiled woods, hand-polished veneer as well as covers in leather, velvet or wool fabric. Whether as a solitary piece, dining chair or ensemble for waiting areas – our Seating sets clear signs in interior design.
Many models are stackable, variably combinable or can be adapted in size and surface. Whether a minimalist Bauhaus chair or a generously upholstered Mid-Century lounge chair – Seating from Zeitwerk Home is characterised by an awareness of form, fidelity to materials and functionality.
For those who do not simply want to sit – but consciously take a seat.
