The 1930s Bauhaus Breuer shelf, a masterpiece by the famous designer Marcel Breuer, embodies the revolutionary aesthetics and functionality that define Bauhaus design. This shelf, originating from Germany, is an icon of modern furniture design, characterised by its clear lines and the harmonious connection between material and form. With its black lacquered surface on both panels, this piece of furniture radiates a warm, natural elegance. The chrome-plated steel tube frame adds an industrial accent and stands in perfect contrast to the organic character of the wood. Despite its age, the shelf is in good condition, with the light patina lending the piece an authentic character and history. Freshly restored, it not only offers practical storage space but also serves as a stylish statement piece that brings the timelessness and innovation of the Bauhaus style into any interior.

At Zeitwerk Home, we prioritise sustainability by applying traditional techniques and using natural materials, oils and resins. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work, ensuring that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we want nothing to do with it.

Whether modification or Newly Made – we are happy to adapt this piece of furniture entirely to your wishes for an additional fee. We can modify the product shown in terms of colour, dimensions or details, as well as implement a bespoke Newly Made version based on this design. Contact us for your individual requests, preferably directly via the chat at the bottom right.
