The Bauhaus-style sideboard, designed and produced by Artur Drozd in our Berlin workshop, masterfully combines the principles of Bauhaus with the demands of modern living culture. At Zeitwerk Home, we produce this piece as a homage to the clear lines and functional forms of Bauhaus. However, we place particular emphasis on adapting it to today's needs.

Customers have the unique opportunity to customise this masterpiece – from the choice of wood and colours to dimensions and surface treatment. The sideboard, with dimensions of 170 cm in length, 40 cm in depth and 70 cm in height, impresses with its carcass made of oak veneer and solid wood, ensuring durability and stability. The surface, finished with stain and hard oil, promises robustness and a natural aesthetic. The drawers joined using traditional mortise-and-tenon techniques on wooden runners and the frame made of chrome-plated steel tube seamlessly integrate into the design, offering practical storage space as well as an attractive look. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work, ensuring that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we want nothing to do with it.
