This Art Deco floor lamp from France dates from the 1930s and is made entirely of chrome-plated metal. The tulip-shaped shade opens upwards and casts light indirectly onto the ceiling, creating a soft, glare-free ambient light. A slender stem connects it to the round, flat base, which gives the lamp a secure footing despite its height of 172 cm. The chrome surface reflects its surroundings and so appears light, almost weightless. With a base diameter of just 27 cm, this 1930s floor lamp fits even into narrow corners, for instance beside an armchair in the living room or at the edge of a study. In period apartments with high ceilings the indirect light comes into its own, whilst the restrained lines suit modern interiors just as well. As a vintage floor lamp from France, the piece is in excellent condition with clear, well-kept chrome plating. Anyone looking for an Art Deco floor lamp with a calm form and genuine provenance will find an original of that era here.

At Zeitwerk Home, we prioritise sustainability by applying traditional techniques and using natural materials, oils and resins. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work, ensuring that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we want nothing to do with it.

Whether modification or Newly Made – we are happy to adapt this piece of furniture entirely to your wishes for an additional fee. We can modify the product shown in terms of colour, dimensions or details, as well as implement a bespoke Newly Made version based on this design. Contact us for your individual requests, preferably directly via the chat at the bottom right.
