This Art Déco table lamp from the 1940s comes from France and is made of black lacquered metal. The broad, sweeping shade recalls a flat disc and sits on a slender stem of polished chrome, which sets a bright accent against the dark surfaces. The lacquer finish gleams deeply and reflects the light in the room, while the domed base rests calmly on the table. At 24 cm in diameter and 48 cm in height, this vintage table lamp suits a bedside table, sideboard or desk without taking up much space. Anyone looking for a 1940s table lamp for a study or living room will find a piece with a clear silhouette that works as well in period apartments as in modern interiors. The piece is in excellent condition and carries the character of a French original from the mid 20th century.

At Zeitwerk Home, we prioritise sustainability by applying traditional techniques and using natural materials, oils and resins. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work, ensuring that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we want nothing to do with it.

Whether modification or Newly Made – we are happy to adapt this piece of furniture entirely to your wishes for an additional fee. We can modify the product shown in terms of colour, dimensions or details, as well as implement a bespoke Newly Made version based on this design. Contact us for your individual requests, preferably directly via the chat at the bottom right.
