This Art Deco bar cabinet from the 1930s features a front of warm walnut veneer with lively grain, which gains a rich sheen through hand-polished shellac. The side surfaces are stained black and form a clear contrast to the light wood tone of the front. Two chrome-plated handles set subtle accents. In the upper area, behind a lockable flap, there is a bar compartment. The lower part offers a view into a display compartment with glass shelf through sliding glass doors, suitable for glasses or decorative pieces. The geometric design language and the narrow plinth are typical of French Art Deco furniture from the interwar period. With 71 cm width, 38 cm depth and 137 cm height, this bar cabinet also fits into narrower living spaces. In the dining room or living room, it acts as a striking individual piece that combines storage space and presentation area in a compact body. The piece originates from France and is in excellent condition.

At Zeitwerk Home, we prioritise sustainability by applying traditional techniques and using natural materials, oils and resins. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work, ensuring that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we want nothing to do with it.

Whether modification or Newly Made – we are happy to adapt this piece of furniture entirely to your wishes for an additional fee. We can modify the product shown in terms of colour, dimensions or details, as well as implement a bespoke Newly Made version based on this design. Contact us for your individual requests, preferably directly via the chat at the bottom right.
