This Bauhaus desk from the 1930s impresses with clear lines, functional design and high-quality materials. The frame as well as the handles are made of chrome-plated steel tube – factual, robust and typical for the Bauhaus aesthetic. The body and top are veneered in beech and were polished by hand with shellac, which gives the furniture a warm, silky surface. With its generous dimensions of 149 × 83 cm, the desk offers sufficient space for working, writing or creating. Freshly restored in our workshop, it combines authenticity with excellent condition. A German original that holds function and form in perfect balance – ideal for those who want to work and create consciously.

At Zeitwerk Home, we prioritise sustainability by applying traditional techniques and using natural materials, oils and resins. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work, ensuring that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we want nothing to do with it.

Whether modification or Newly Made – we are happy to adapt this piece of furniture entirely to your wishes for an additional fee. We can modify the product shown in terms of colour, dimensions or details, as well as implement a bespoke Newly Made version based on this design. Contact us for your individual requests, preferably directly via the chat at the bottom right.
