This Bauhaus side table from the 1930s has a rectangular top with chamfered corners, covered with a mirror. Bent chrome-plated steel tube forms an open U and rises from a wooden base. The wood of the top and base shows a warm walnut brown with lively grain and a glossy finish, the chrome beneath it a slightly aged, soft tone. The stepped base rests on four small, tiered feet and gives the table a secure stance. With a width of 58 cm, a depth of 41 cm and a height of 67 cm, this steel tube side table sits beside an armchair or sofa without filling the room. The mirror surface catches the light and brightens dark corners in the living room. The piece was made in Germany and its condition is excellent. In period apartments a Bauhaus side table with mirror looks as at home as in modern interiors.

At Zeitwerk Home, we prioritise sustainability by applying traditional techniques and using natural materials, oils and resins. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work, ensuring that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we want nothing to do with it.

Whether modification or Newly Made – we are happy to adapt this piece of furniture entirely to your wishes for an additional fee. We can modify the product shown in terms of colour, dimensions or details, as well as implement a bespoke Newly Made version based on this design. Contact us for your individual requests, preferably directly via the chat at the bottom right.
