This Bauhaus desk by Artur Drozd was made in the Zeitwerk Home workshop in Berlin and is a new piece in excellent condition. The frame of chrome-plated steel tube is bent into two closed runners. The tabletop is coated with linoleum in Soft Lilac and framed by a beech edge, while the drawer in veneered beech sits on either the left or the right. At 160 cm wide, 80 cm deep and 75 cm high, it offers room in a study for a monitor, papers and sketches, while the slim tube keeps the space open. Anyone looking for a steel tube desk decides on wood type, colour, dimensions and finish, as every piece is made to order. As an independent interpretation of the Bauhaus formal language for today's needs, it is designed and made locally in Berlin.

At Zeitwerk Home, we prioritise sustainability by applying traditional techniques and using natural materials, oils and resins. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work, ensuring that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we want nothing to do with it.

Whether modification or Newly Made – we are happy to adapt this piece of furniture entirely to your wishes for an additional fee. We can modify the product shown in terms of colour, dimensions or details, as well as implement a bespoke Newly Made version based on this design. Contact us for your individual requests, preferably directly via the chat at the bottom right.
