This Bauhaus desk 'Z420' by Artur Drozd combines clear lines with practical generosity. The work surface made of linoleum rests on a beech-veneered carpenter's board, sealed with hard oil. Warm beech edges frame the grey linoleum surface and create a material contrast to the chrome-plated steel tube frame, which supports the table in two characteristic loops. A central drawer provides space for pens and notes without interrupting the reduced design language. With 160 cm width and 80 cm depth, it creates a work surface that combines focused working with sufficient freedom of movement. The working height of 75 cm meets ergonomic requirements. Zeitwerk Home manufactures this desk in its own Berlin workshop. Material, wood type, colour, dimensions and finish can be individually configured. In the study or office, the Bauhaus desk sets a clear design accent that can be combined equally well with modern and classic interior styles.

At Zeitwerk Home, we prioritise sustainability by applying traditional techniques and using natural materials, oils and resins. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work, ensuring that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we want nothing to do with it.

Whether modification or Newly Made – we are happy to adapt this piece of furniture entirely to your wishes for an additional fee. We can modify the product shown in terms of colour, dimensions or details, as well as implement a bespoke Newly Made version based on this design. Contact us for your individual requests, preferably directly via the chat at the bottom right.
