With its clear silhouette and tense combination of materials, this coffee table embodies the essence of Bauhaus design. The chrome-plated steel tube frame takes up the characteristic lines of modernism, while the black stained tabletop, finished with a traditional hand polish of shellac, forms a warm contrast. The interplay of cool structure and finely refined surface gives the piece its quiet presence. At 110 x 60 x 54 cm, the table fits perfectly into living spaces that value understated clarity and functional elegance. An object that writes design history, and remains entirely suited to everyday use.

At Zeitwerk Home, we prioritise sustainability by applying traditional techniques and using natural materials, oils and resins. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work, ensuring that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we want nothing to do with it.

Whether modification or Newly Made – we are happy to adapt this piece of furniture entirely to your wishes for an additional fee. We can modify the product shown in terms of colour, dimensions or details, as well as implement a bespoke Newly Made version based on this design. Contact us for your individual requests, preferably directly via the chat at the bottom right.
