A rare original from the 1940s: this round Bauhaus shelving unit combines the iconic design language of Modernism with a playful lightness. Three lacquered wooden elements at different heights rest on a chrome-plated steel tube frame, a construction that is not only visually convincing but also functionally well thought out. The geometric staggering creates a dynamic overall image and makes the shelf an ideal stage for plants, books or design objects. Whether as a side table, plant stand or sculptural accent in the room, this Bauhaus piece fits harmoniously into minimalist and expressive interiors alike and gives them an unmistakable note.

At Zeitwerk Home, we prioritise sustainability by applying traditional techniques and using natural materials, oils and resins. We pay particular attention to the environmental friendliness of our work, ensuring that no harmful substances are used. However, the most important aspect of our philosophy is that nothing is more sustainable than an object that lasts a lifetime. Our furniture is carefully restored and processed so that it endures for generations. With today’s booming throwaway mentality, we want nothing to do with it.

Whether modification or Newly Made – we are happy to adapt this piece of furniture entirely to your wishes for an additional fee. We can modify the product shown in terms of colour, dimensions or details, as well as implement a bespoke Newly Made version based on this design. Contact us for your individual requests, preferably directly via the chat at the bottom right.
