It is often the small things that complete a room. Accessories lend structure, set accents and tell stories – quietly, but precisely. Our selection includes 20th-century design objects that oscillate between art and function: mirrors with nickel-plated frames in the Art Deco style, steel tube stools from the Bauhaus era, Mid-Century lamps or small side tables with a sculptural feel.
Many of these pieces date from the 1920s to the 1970s, carefully restored and in excellent condition. Others we make in our Berlin workshop on request – as re-editions or newly interpreted individual pieces. Materials such as chrome-plated steel tube, brass, hand-blown glass, linoleum or lacquered wood are used in finely tuned combinations.
What unites all objects: they are an expression of a design thinking that is not accommodating, but conscious. Our accessories are not decoration in the conventional sense. They expand spaces, disrupt habit and challenge the eye. Whether on sideboards, consoles or in the centre of the room – they stand for the connection of function, craftsmanship and a sense of form.
Many of the objects can be individually customised – whether in height, surface, colour or material. This creates small furniture and living objects that not only complement, but shape. Accessories from Zeitwerk Home are details that remain – beyond the seasonal, beyond the arbitrary.
