The frame is cold-bent from chrome-plated steel tube and forms a semicircle in plan, serving as backrest, armrests and base ring at once. The seat is round and upholstered in black fabric, and the back roll carries the same upholstery, sitting exactly at lumbar height. Seat height 46 cm, overall height 78 cm, width 54 cm: the chair is compact enough for a dining table and comfortable enough to sit in for longer. At a desk, at a round kitchen table or on its own as a seat in the bedroom, this Mid Century chair works equally well. The chrome is preserved all round and shows only the fine loss of shine that five decades leave behind.
